Keukenhof

The tulip is one of the most iconic symbols of the Netherlands. And nowhere are they worshipped more whole-heartedly than at the Keukenhof. Known as 'the Garden of Europe', Keukenhof has fields of more than seven million tulips spread out over 32 hectares.

The focus is on the mighty tulip, but roses, gerberas, daffodils, orchids, and more all get their time to shine. There are English and Japanese gardens, a playground, petting zoo, maze and much more to explore. It's open for just eight weeks each spring.

Keukenhof: Skip the Line + Public Transport to and from Amsterdam
We had a great time at this garden. I suggest to get the skip the line with public transport ticket from Amsterdam. It was quite far from the city center but with the help of the bus facilities (wifi, comfortable seats and aircondition) we were relaxed. Unfortunately, when we changed the bus from Schiphol to Keukenhof the bus aircondition wasn’t working and it was really hot l 😬, so I was really disappointed! However, it wasn’t difficult to find the buses because the Hollandais were very helpful giving us instructions where to find them.

Keukenhof: Roundtrip from Amsterdam
The Keukenhof Garden tour was superb amazing. Unfortunately, please beware of pickpockets during your wonderful visit. The immoral and uncivilised pickpocket were attacking old people from my observation from the photos had been taken.

Definitely worth getting your tickets through Tiquets rather than standing in line for them. Only issue was they packed too many of us on the bus from the airport to Keukenhof Gardens so many of us had to stand. Not a very nice or comfortable experience because the journey lasted about 30 mins.

Keukenhof: Skip The Line
I would recommend getting the tickets for garden and bus from Amsterdam in the package deal. The garden was well worth the visit, but go about midway through the six weeks rather than towards the end.

Good park, better do not visit in in the middle of may, better to go early, when all flowers are fresh and no withered tulips
